This project currently has a working "proof of concept" implementation which is the current active (trunk) line of development.

Prior to any beta release, the package will undergo a rewrite in order to utilize protocol version 2 of the command Dpkg::Pre-Install-Pkgs. Once the reference implementation has been completed and tested for completeness, development will shift from the experimental branch to the version 0.01 development branch.

The release timeline is currently unspecified.
