Minor version 0.2 released
Written for bashup by Caspar Clemens Mierau on 2009-04-14
We are happy to announce the release of the next version of bashup. Version 0.2 brings you advanced ssh handling and introduces lzma as an additional compression filter (please note that various tests showed the advantage of lzma over gzip and bzip2 in speed and compression ratio).
We are also happy to see that bashup finds more and more users and even an editor of Softpedia took the time to add it to the software database:

New backup destination: Amazon S3
Written for bashup by Anselm Helbig on 2008-07-18
Bashup is now able to push data to Amazon S3. Rotation over S3 should also work. The error reporting is a bit rough around the edges, and I have not yet found a way to upload without using a temporary files. Alpha testers are welcome!
Move to Launchpad complete
Written for bashup by Caspar Clemens Mierau on 2008-07-16
After some issues with moving the project from Sourceforge to Launchpad, we are happy that the process is finished so far. Therefore the project Bazaar branch is the new official code repository. Stick to this if you want to test bleeding edge code: lp:bashup is the bazaar url you want to checkout.
