Bug Description
Binary package hint: bzr
Hi,
I would like to request a FFe for bzr 1.13rc1, with the aim of getting the final
of 1.13 in to Jaunty when it is released (due on the 13th). Doing this would
also require a freeze exception for 1.13.
The headline change is this one:
* ``bzr push`` to a ``bzr`` url (``bzr://``, ``bzr+ssh://`` etc) will
stream if the server is version 1.13 or greater, reducing roundtrips
significa
bringing improved network performance. With
* Lightweight Checkouts and Stacked Branches should both be much
faster over remote connections. Building the working tree now
batches up requests into approx 5MB requests, rather than a separate
request for each file. (John Arbash Meinel)
also being useful, along with the usual batch of improvements and bug
fixes.
I, along with many others run trunk, or daily builds, and the beta has
been in the bzr PPA since it was released.
There have been a couple of bugs fixed in the 1.13 branch since the RC
was released, but nothing that should prevent us from uploading the
rc, as we would pick them up with the move to final.
The package is available in Debian unstable for us to sync.
Thanks,
James
