Bug Description

On a Dell D810 with ATI X600 graphics card (128MB) the X-Server fails to start on a Dapper Flight5 LiveCD. You cannot switch to a Textconsole. The whole system seems to hang. Power off Button still iniates a (software) shutdown. With Flight4 LiveCD everything was fine.

The same bug occurs, if you install kubuntu dapper flight4 and perform an apt-get dist-upgrade.

The X-Server starts if you boot the system with the previous kernel (2.6.15-15-386) instead of the updated one (2.6.15-18-386).

Same bug for Acer Ferrari with ATI Mobility Radeon X700. Tried Ubuntu Flight 5 after Flight 4 crashed during same upgrade mentioned above.
