Mai is a project to learn a computer speak and understand the Dutch language.

How do we learn a computer speak our language? With Mai we try to solve this question. Not by using predefined data but by creating abstract and independent systems to analyze language and its syntax.

Our current focus is developing the Mai ASA (Advanced Sentence Analyzer) project. This project is written in Java (in contrast to the other projects) and will focus on analyzing data (datamining).

We can always use new developers! (Especially Java developers) If you want to join our team and contribute we are glad to tell you everything about the project.
