This release fixes an issue where a client can silently go away without the socket closing. This leaves a stale input device. The X server only handles a certain amount of input devices, so leaving stale input devices consumes these resources. To fix the issue, the server now uses TCP keepalive messages to ensure the client is still connected. If no response is received over an interval on the order of a few minutes, the connection is closed, and the input device is released.
