STRIX SOAR sound card doesn't output any sound after Lunar -> Mantic upgrade
Hi everyone,
After upgrading from Lunar -> Mantic I can no longer get any sound out of my speakers which are connected to a STRIX SOAR sound card. This worked with no issues pre-upgrade, and the speakers/card still work on my windows partition. Is anyone able to help? I've tried (and now undone) various mod probe blacklisting and tweaking off the internet but the information seems pretty disparate and out of date so now I'm following the Ubuntu sound troubleshooting guide.
You'll notice that I have a JABRA conference speaker/mic attached as well - sound plays fine out of this (although of course quality is garbage :-D)
No sound if I use the 'SPDIF' or 'Speakers' option for the Strix sound card in the gnome sound control centre. I've checked for muting in `alsamixer` and `pavucontrol`
I should add that this is a PCI sound card but appears as 'USB Audio' a lot in this output. I don't know whether it did this before the Mantic upgrade unfortunately.
