    + Build emacs-nox without sound support.
    + Use bzip2 compression to save bandwidth.

    reverse video in the modeline.

  * The "Manuscript Replica" release.

  * New snapshot:
    + The Emacs character set is now a superset of Unicode.
    + Emacs has a new font backend with support for Xft/Freetype.
    + D-Bus support is now enabled.

  * debian/rules: Add --enable-font-backend to emacs confflags.
  * debian/control.in:
    + Replace libungif4-dev with libgif-dev in build-depends.
    + Add libxft-dev and libdbus-1-dev to build-depends.
  * debian/control: Regenerate.
