nss-mdns 0.15.1-1ubuntu1 source package in Ubuntu
Changelog
nss-mdns (0.15.1-1ubuntu1) jammy; urgency=medium * Downgrade avahi-daemon Depends to Recommends. This allows to install libnss-mdns inside a container (e.g. chroot, snap, etc.) without installing avahi-daemon. avahi-daemon socket in such cases can be provided via bind-mounts. This allows to ship libnss-mdns in core22 without requiring to create a fake avahi-daemon provider. -- Dimitri John Ledkov <email address hidden> Sat, 22 Jan 2022 11:29:17 +0000
