PPA description
Official release 4.1 of the GTSAM library
To also install debug symbols:
1) add another line to your apt sources file
(for instance /etc/apt/
such that it looks like this (example here is for focal):
deb http://
deb http://
# deb-src http://
2) Install debug symbols
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libgtsam4-dbgsym libgtsam-
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:borglab/gtsam-release-4.1 to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:borglab/gtsam-release-4.1
sudo apt update
