My involvement with the Ubuntu project began in 2005, when I joined the Documentation Team and contributed documentation to to the community in the form of several sections of the original Ubuntu Server Guide and several HOWTO guides on wiki.ubuntu.com.

I also spent considerable time providing support in the #ubuntu IRC channel in years past and personally distributed over 100 Ubuntu CDROMs in my area through the original Ubuntu ShipIt program.
