Ubuntu 10.04 LTS :: Updates
PPA description
This is a personal package archive to continue the support of Ubuntu 10.04 alias Lucid Lynx on the desktop for my own Lucid systems. Most of the packages below contains patches for actual known security issues. I cannot guarantee completeness and correctness, so if you use this PPA do it for your own risk.
My motivation for this PPA: I prefer the old GNOME 2 look and feel and I only waits for the MATE desktop lands in one of the official repositories either in Debian or Ubuntu. Of course I am very happy with Lucid and I see no reason to change to another distribution. But the whole thing here is more an experiment and I do not know how long I'll hold it.
Questions, remarks and reviews of the packages below are welcome.
By the way, I'm looking for someone who have experience in porting a GTK2 theme to GTK3. I would like to port the old "Karmic Koala" human theme to GTK3, so if you are interested in please contact me.
UPDATE: The MATE desktop is now available in the Debian and Ubuntu repositories. Therefore I will finish my small experiment at this point.
