PPA description
This is ISC's Extended Support Version, recommended for users who prefer infrequent upgrades. Currently this is the BIND 9.16 branch, which will be supported until at least the end of 2023.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:isc/bind-esv to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:isc/bind-esv
sudo apt update
