xserver-xorg with tearfree modesetting
PPA description
Contains Sultan Alsawaf's patches from https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/1006 (specifically https://github.com/kerneltoast/xserver/tree/new-tearfree-21.1.5)
and https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/1042 applied to Xserver 21.1.x compiled for Ubuntu 22.04 (Jammy).
Note that "TearFree" is not enabled by default and requires something such as the following added to xorg.conf:

Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:jeff250/xserver-xorg-with-tearfree-modesetting to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jeff250/xserver-xorg-with-tearfree-modesetting
sudo apt update
