git-annex
PPA description
This repository contains updated `git-annex` packages based on tagged releases made by the upstream project; for more information, see their website at https://git-annex.branchable.com/.
I have not applied any patches on top of the upstream releases.
Upstream releases starting with 6.20160318 depend on libraries that previous releases did not. Two of those libraries are not available in the 16.04 LTS ("xenial") package repositories, so I have backported the versions available in the 16.10 ("yakkety") repositories. Those packages are `haskell-disk-free-space` and `haskell-mountpoints`.
The packaging is based on that created by the Debian maintainer; Ubuntu provides the same packages without modification. The source packages that I upload are built from a packaging repository with the help of my `kk-debuilder` utility (described at https://github.com/kelleyk/kk-debuilder).
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:kelleyk/git-annex to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelleyk/git-annex
sudo apt update
