MAAS ephemeral images
PPA description
This PPA is used in building of the maas images [1].
Adding packages here is generally a hack. The correct fix is to get the package fixed in the Ubuntu archive.
There should be packages ONLY for 12.04 here.
The following is justification for the packages that are here.
- cloud-init: LEAVE in PPA for now (LP: #1515733).
As precise is EOL, we have no intention of further support. The package
was here because there was no MAAS datasource in 12.04 cloud-init.
- maas-enlist: LEAVE in PPA for now.
this could be dropped per bug 1511482. It is possibly used by versions of
maas older than revno 1976 (precise is 1.2+bzr1373+
I (smoser) have created an 'old' archive with copies of anything that
was present here but has been removed at [2]. Those packages were:
- cloud-initramfs
originally copied from quantal for dyn-netconf. removed when cloud-initramfs
- mountall: DROPPED 2015-11-12
originally copied from quantal for bug 643289 now fixed in 12.04.
- open-iscsi: DROPPED 2015-11-12 (was already obsolete)
originally added for bug 1050487 and bug 1047722 . Now both fixed in 12.04.
