PPA description
This is the Ubuntu PPA repository for radio astronomy software.
Only 14.04 LTS (trusty) is supported. When the time is right we will migrate to 16.04. Don't try to use these packages on other Ubuntu releases. Also make sure you have universe and multiverse
repositories enabled.
installation:
$ sudo apt-get install software-
$ sudo add-apt-repository -s ppa:radio-
$ sudo apt-get update
Now to install for example meqtrees:
$ sudo apt-get install meqtrees
NOTE: This repository will not longer receive any updates and is superseded by KERN, the new Radio Astronomy Software suite:
KERN is based on Ubuntu 16.04.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:radio-astro/main to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:radio-astro/main
sudo apt update
