PPA description
Beru is the Basic Epub Reader for Ubuntu: http://rschroll.github.io/beru
For Precise and Quantal, you also need to add ppa:ubuntu-sdk-team/ppa. It's probably a good idea to do that for the other releases as well, to ensure that you have the latest version of the SDK.
