PPA description
This ppa contains packages built to support upgrading instance kernels on ec2.
To add UEC host support, add this ppa and apt-get upgrade. The relevant packages are eucalyptus, qemu-kvm, and seabios.
*Note* I do not intend to pursue SRU for UEC host support.
To add EC2 reboot support to an instance (support for pv-grub), add this ppa and install 'grub-legacy-ec2' and 'apt-get upgrade'.

cloud-init and grub-pc changes are in lucid-updates as of 2010-12-13. Official released images 20101228 and later [1] can be booted with pv-grub kernels. The subsequent UEC images may have a pv-grub kernel by default.
