PPA description
squid-deb-proxy for the desktop/developer user!
This modified version places no restrictions on package sources, but will not act as a generic HTTP proxy either.
squid-deb-proxy-desktop-client will automatically detect if squid-deb-proxy-desktop is running on the local machine, and dynamically add proxies on the network as cache_peers.
This allows seamlessly provisioning virtual machines from a local apt-cache, and importing files from other caches on your home network automatically - truly minimizing the amount of data which must be downloaded over a network.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:w-rouesnel/squid-deb-proxy-desktop to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:w-rouesnel/squid-deb-proxy-desktop
sudo apt update
