PPA description
PPA for TrinityCore WOTLK branch.
***Do not forget to***
*rename /usr/local/etc/authserver.conf.dist to authserver.conf
*rename /usr/local/etc/worldserver.conf.dist to worldserver.conf
*modify authserver.conf and worldserver.conf(mysql server settings,...)
*create mysql structure. import TDB and apply all DB updates
*paste maps (+ vmaps, mmaps depending on your config)
NOTES:
*Cataclysm version of TC is here: https://launchpad.net/~zatloukal-frantisek/+archive/trinitycore-cataclysm
*You cannot use Cataclysm and Wotlk version at once for now
This PPA is tested in the latest lts release (Precise Pangolin). However, packages will be available for all supported Ubuntu releases.
Under Lucid, you'll have to follow http://collab.kpsn.org/display/tc/How-to_Linux and compile ACE manually.
Do not report bugs here to launchpad (unless they exist only in ppa version). Report bugs to github of TC: http://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:zatloukal-frantisek/trinitycore-wotlk to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:zatloukal-frantisek/trinitycore-wotlk
sudo apt update
