Avant Window Navgator (Awn) is a dock-like bar which sits at the bottom of the screen. It has support for launchers, task lists, and applets.

The Avant Window Navigator project houses the awn and awn-extras projects.

Awn Project
=======
This project is focused on developing the core 'dock' and accompanying library 'libawn'. It consists of a core set of developers who fix bugs, preside over feature requests and merge translations.

Awn-extras Project
===========
This project is focused on developing applets, plugins and anything else which is related to Awn, but does not belong in core. It consists of a larger base of developers, and allows those interested in developing software for Awn to host there creations, and also have the chance to for their applets to be included in a awn-extras release.
