A company is concerned that its employees are keeping some private data on their PCs.
The data includes credit card numbers, driver's license number, user names, passwords, etc. The
company is concerned that such data might fall in the wrong hands. As a solution, the company decided
to build a tool which can be run by an employee to search files on his PC for such data and present the
results. The tool should be able to extract possible private data from common file types like Microsoft
Office files, text files, and other formats. The tool should also handle compressed files. Finally, it
should be build using JAVA for portability reasons. The overall goal of this project is to build an
accurate and versatile tool.
