A dictionary application for fictional/art languages and constructed languages.

Conman’s Dictionary is a dictionary application that is geared for fiction writers or armchair linguists who are working on constructed languages.

The application allows to edit two separate word lists. Words can be categorised according to grammatical word classes (noun, verb, etc) and arbitrary categories, all of which can be customised. The information is stored in a straightforward XML format, and it can also be exported in the plain text format used by dictd.

The application is written in Java, and requires Java 6 SE. To build, you also need Maven (and optionally NetBeans).

The actual development happens through our Gitorious.org repository (http://gitorious.org/conmandictionary), but bug tracking, file releases and other cool stuff happens through Launchpad.
