This Eye of Gnome-Plugin makes it possible to rate Images with 0-5 stars and stores them in the image metadata.

This Eye of Gnome (EOG)-Plugin makes it possible to rate Images with 0-5 stars. EOG is the standard image-viewer in Ubuntu. The ratings are stored in the Metadata of the image within the Xmp.xmp.rating Tag. This makes them also usable in other programs such as Shotwell or digiKam.

To install this plugin:
bzr branch lp:~themeles/eog-image-rating/trunk
mkdir /usr/lib/eog/plugins/image-rating
cp -R trunk/* /usr/lib/eog/plugins/image-rating/
