HEXR (Hardware Enablement Cross Referencer) allows an engineer to readily identify components within a given system, identify other systems containing the same component(s), and determine the support for a given component within Ubuntu.
This is a project to convert the proof-of-concept by Jeremy Kerr into a stable prototype for use by the Hardware Enablement team. The end result will help us to decide whether to map the functionality into the Hardware Certification site (certify-web), or abstract the functionality into a standalone hardware database.
