libhashkit is the core component to libmemcached that handles hashing and distribution. It supports MD5, CRC, FNV1_64, FNV1A_64, FNV1_32, FNV1A_32, HSIEH, MURMUR, Jenkins, and Jenkin's "One at A time Hash". It has support for adding in custom hashes as well.
