This project provides an installer for LyX on Windows that will provide a full-featured installation of LaTeX, LyX and a program to manage bibliographic references. The installer works on all Windows versions (Win XP and newer).
Goal: A full-featured installer for LyX on Windows. All programs that are needed to run LyX are detected and installed automatically. This includes a LaTeX distribution, a bibliography manager (JabRef), image processors (ImageMagick and GhostScript), a scripting language (Python) a thesaurus (MyThes) and a spell checker (Hunspell).
