Nexenta Operating System currently runs on Intel/AMD 32/64bit hardware and ships as a single CD installer that can download additional software packages from the internet using APT as the Debian/GNU Linux and Ubuntu Linux do.
Nexenta Operating System package repository currently contains more than 10k packages ported from Ubuntu, and Debian/GNU.
