As of April 2014 we're searching able developers for an easy, eye-candy and intuitive programm to compile ur academic bibliography. One aim would be to make this program usable in every country, so it's an international tool. Anyone willing to help with whatever you think of feel encouraged to e-mail!

NOTE by the founder: I know there are "mainstream" (commercial) programs like Citave, RefWorks and so on, so the focus is in this project on INTUITIVITY and SIMPLICITY. A user fills in the data and out comes the bibliography. Of course in the academically correct style, like MLA Style, journal style etc.

Code in Python (2.7 / 3.4) preferred, to make it platform-independent. Linux version has priority though definitely planning a Windows version too.

A first rudimentary python script is available via the code page.
