SuSE is a desktop and server operating system based on the Linux kernel
and produced by Novell and the OpenSuSE community.
SuSE is a long-standing Linux distribution, originally developed in
Germany, and now produced by a worldwide community led by Novell.
There are two main versions of SuSE: the commercially supported SuSE
Enterprise Linux and the community supported OpenSuSE.
SuSE primarily uses the KDE desktop, the RPM packaging system and the
Yast2 configuration tool.
