Task is a sophisticated command line todo list and task manager with a lot of features like colorful tabbed output, feature rich search function, lots of manipulation commands, tags, statistics, "Getting Things Done" compatible and interactive editing of tasks in a text editor.

The project is based at http://taskwarrior.org and the development is happening there. This launchpad project page for task exists to simplify the support of the task package in Ubuntu.
