Tempestas has quite the history.
Was first launched as Stormcloud by Jono Cooper, then after it was stopped being developed it got picked up by Archisman Panigrahi and turned into Typhoon.
Fastforward it transitioned to Cumulus by Daryl Bennett and myself(Adrian Verban) along with the help of Archisman Panigrahi, but because I like the Qt framework with Daryl and Archisman not having time for it I have developed a Qt port of the application named Cumulus-qt, while the original Cumulus was stopped being developed.
While still retaining the essentials of Cumulus, Cumulus-qt evolved into more than the original, capable of having multiple locations, location-based weather and cross platform counterparts so a new name is in order to show this evolution.
This is how Tempestas was borned.
