Hello, my name is Uwe Hauck, i am located in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany.
I am into computers since the early 80s, and came in contact with linux while still at the university.
My real switch to Linux came about two years ago when i replaced all my families computers installations with suse linux first then with ubuntu.

I try to help others in my community make the switch to desktop linux namely ubuntu, try to find bugs in new releases and try to help in the translation of documentation. Other then that I am an instructor for new students in our company and ammore than willing to give anyone of them a helping hand should they want to switch to ubuntu.
All my presentations for the students run on my own notebook with compiz so i can really say, my presentations make an impression (and may that only be because the 3d Desktop comes in handy ;)
