I'm a real beginner at programming and at the Linux world but I'm up to the challenge.

For starters, I'd like to delve into things concerned with software engineering.

I have elementary html, css, javascript, php and MySQL skills. I would appreciate it if I could get involved in some projects which demand such knowledge.

However, my major focus is C/C++ and python. Kernel & shell development with browser integration and cloud computing - sth like the upcoming Google OS.

I'd appreciate it too if someone could offer me insight on how to achieve my goals.
