IVI Ubuntu is a place to collect and work on software appropriate for an In-Vehicle Infotainment system. Note that this is only one type of system, likely most suited for cars, and is really only a subset of the type of software that runs on modern vehicles.
The work here will closely track work done in other projects, like GENIVI and Tizen IVI to ensure that Ubuntu is representative of modern IVI systems and to help build out a robust ecosystem of Free Software for the vehicle.
