Somebody once called me a supervillain. I disagree. I don’t want to take over the world or fight anybody, I just want to do cool science. Some of that science is inherently dangerous… and some of it might involve blowing up the moon.

You have to admit, though – the moon blowing up would be an awesome sight.

I’m a PhD student in Computer Science at University of Minnesota (conducting research in search-based software engineering) and a (semi-retired) gaming journalist for 4 Color Rebellion and The Escapist. I'm the cohost of the Your Rights Online podcast (http://www.yourrightsonline.org). I also record the occasional gaming podcast with the crew of GameSugar. I used to work for NASA and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
