I believe in the principals of open source software and open standards and am trying to do my part by the careful reporting of bugs. Currently I'm most interested in a stable and secure system that my mom could use, but still allows lots of tweakability for me. I'm interested in the media programs such as photo (digikam), video (kdenlive), and audio (amarok). However, I tend to stick with the gnome desktop.
