Team of core developers who work on maintaining the IPython project.

If you are a newcomer to IPython, you can send us code on the ipython-dev mailing list (http://mail.scipy.org/mailman/listinfo/ipython-dev) or propose your personal branches on Launchpad for us to merge.

The members of this team have write access to the release branches and trunk, so we only accept memberships to contributors with an established track record on the mailing list, as is typical of Open Source projects. But in order to make it as easy as possible for newcomers to contribute and share work on branches with core team members, we have a second team with a very liberal policy (anyone who requests membership will be accepted): the IPython Contributors team (http://launchpad.net/~ipython-contrib). Simply request membership for the Contributors team, which we will approve as quickly as we can.
