My name is Mohammad Hafiz Ismail and welcome to my Launchpad profile. I'm a hobbyist programmer and a part time researcher working in a university in Malaysia (http://www.perlis.uitm.edu.my/hafiz). I enjoy reading computer related material and blogging about open source software.

My main operating system platform is Ubuntu (Trusty Tahr) which I run on my VPS and on a web server in my workplace. I usually codes in GNU/Linux, my main programming languages is C and Java (mainly Android), but I also can code in PHP and .NET (Compact Framework).
