Everyone is free to register their own branches on Launchpad with custom OpenERP modules. After being published each branch should be registered on OpenERP Apps at http://apps.openerp.com
Branches may be owned by yourself, one of your teams, or simply the OpenERP Community team (https://launchpad.net/~openerp-community) if you'd like to make them completely public.

Historically, the OpenERP Committers teams was in charge of the OpenERP Extra addons branch, a common repository for modules developed by the community. This repository is now superseded by OpenERP Apps, and the team has no real purpose anymore, so it has been closed. If you'd like to take care of maintaining one of the modules that are still located in the extra addons repository, please contact us.
