I've been a devoted Free & Open Source Software activist and developer since 1996. Throughout these 10+ years, I achieved some interesting goals:

 1 - Making a living with FOSS.
2 - Becoming FOSS Chief Director for a 1000+ staff consultancy company in Spain.
3 - Introducing public and private institutions to massive FOSS migrations, specially regarding the Desktop.
4 - Defining some collaborative team guidelines for my FOSS department that brought both satisfaction and productivity.

So, you could say my hobby is my work... or the other way round.

Some interesting projects I founded or contributed to:

 1 - http://alqua.org: free scientific books. In 1999.
2 - LenguaLibre (now defunct). Free Spanish Dictionary. In 2000.
 3 - Minë. Middle-earth Interactive network environment. In 2002.
4 - GNU translators team (spanish). In 2000.
5 - Minor projects like RSSAlert (popups with RSS updates), BluX (Perform actions while monitoring BT devices) or Calipod (sync icals with Ipod).
 6 - Minor projects related to OpenMoko's Neo Freerunner:http://www.openmoko.com

My personal blog (in spanish) is at http://diacritica.net though a more FOSS-oriented one is at http://es42.es
My favorite programming language is python.
Now interested in Information Architecture and Semantic Web as well as Distributed development teams and their best practices.
