I live and work in Manchester, UK. I'm the author of a popular Ubuntu MythTV guide, http://parker1.co.uk/mythtv_ubuntu.php.

I also created and have done most of the artwork for Ubuntu Satanic Edition: http://ubuntusatanic.org. It's kind of tongue-in-cheek, but most people understand where it's coming from and enjoy the art... I put together the packages and built the repository, but hope to use the new launchpad features to help me build and maintain it.

I spend my days as a C programmer on Solaris, but I've been using Linux for 8 years and Ubuntu since Warty, so I thought it was about time I gave something back to the community.
