I work as a Electronic Engineer in the broadcast industry.

I've been using linux at work and home since 1993 (starting with a pre 1.0 kernel I think). Initially used Slackware, changed to Debian in 1995 (before v1.0 I think). Changed to Ubuntu with Hoary release. However the major bugs and the new theme in karmic have pushing me back to Debian on my desktop and netbooks. The subsequent changes means I'm not likely to be installing ubuntu ever again.
