Worked for 6 years as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Worldgate Communications Inc. Designing tests and reporting bugs were among my most important duties. My specialty was designing and running non-invasive automated tests, as well as developing software to execute the tests. My work in automated testing has been praised by engineers and executives alike. I also have a strong affiliation for documentation, I strive to make certain that my documentation is always 100% correct, complete, and easily-understandable.
I have been using Linux for many years, I cannot remember the last time I used another machine. I am interested in Operating System Design and Video Game Design as hobbies, I would not consider either as a career choice, since I know how little work their is in those fields, and the sacrifices I would have to make to work in those fields in a corporate environment.
I speak American English as my native language, but I am currently learning Korean as a second language. I hope to one day also learn Mandarin Chinese.
I know C and C++, as well as the basics of some other languages such as pascal. My shell scripting skills are fairly strong as well.
I prefer to do all my programming in C, and never use C++ on my own projects. In the near future I plan to learn ASM, although I realize that it is difficult. I learned Java, but I refuse to ever write another line of code in Java because it sucks, I will not program in a language that does not compile to native machine code, or one which uses garbage collection.
