I studied economics and computer sciences at university in Lausanne (Switzerland). For about twelve years, I have been playing with Linux and other open source softwares. I do not consider myself to be a guru of whatever in the open source world, I simply like using and configuring programs as soon as they are open source.

I do not currently work in a company "open source oriented" whereas I would have liked to. I try to promote open source projects and philosophy around me.

I started to play with Red Hat, then Mandrake, and a few years with a gentoo (I liked very much this one) and now with a beautiful kubuntu.

I am not afraid of testing and launching shell scripts. I will start to contribute with translating work I guess. I have two PC at home and I would be able to test new releases of kubuntu as well.
