As a member of the Informatics team at IntraHealth International, Shannon Turlington manages information systems and development projects and is the lead in developing the iHRIS suite of human resources information system software products for use in ministries of health and national registration and certification organizations in developing countries. Shannon sets standards for and oversees the development of information systems, databases and applications used in IntraHealth headquarters and field offices worldwide. She is involved in organizational knowledge management, IT strategic planning and website and electronic media development for IntraHealth and its programs. She is the author of 18 nonfiction reference books and several articles on such subjects as the Internet and information technology; software, including end-user and business applications; and college admissions and financing.
