I am ring (রিং). Full name Shazedur Rahim Joardar. Started my computing in 1999. In 2005 achieved a Professional Diploma in Information Technology focusing Software Engineering from NIIT. I am an enthusiasts of GNU/Linux and Computing in my mother language, Bengali (বাংলা) .

In 2009 I had started working with some spinning mills here in Bangladesh as a Consultant, IT and MIS. In 2012 SFG IT department finally migrated with Free as in Freedom software only. In 2016 all the servers, desktop computers and laptops started running only on GNU/Linux distro. Ubuntu Server & Mint Desktop based solutions were deployed. Some of the factory production machinery like autoconer & crossroll are also running on custom GNU/Linux system.

From October 2014 to December 2016 worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Software Engineering Department in Daffodil International University at Dhaka, Bangladesh. I had shared my knowledge on Modern Operating Systems and Database among the pupils. Moreover I had frequently conducted various hardware and software hacking sessions and FOSS events for the pupils.

Besides my works I love to contribute to the society by helping people using GNU/Linux distributions and free software as a member of various Bengali and International forums such as প্রজন্ম ফোরাম (https://forum.projanmo.com/user3252.html), আমাদের প্রযুক্তি ফোরাম (https://forum.amaderprojukti.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=4760).

I am a hard worker to spread out GNU/Linux and Digital Freedom knowledge in our mother language (বাংলা/Bengali). I had sponsored and organized distro release parties, get together, seminars, barcamp and various types of technical and non-technical sessions on GNU, Linux Kernel, Debian, Ubuntu and Linux Mint in person and through a voluntary organization titled FOSS Bangladesh (aka: Foundation for Open Source Solutions Bangladesh).
