This is a group which any Ubuntu developer can join. We hope to encourage developers to research and experiment and to share their results with us here.

Research is an often over looked area of development. Instead of having developers firmly focused on copying existing ideas, we want to encourage developers to try out new things, engage in risky code and talk about what works and what doesn't.
