The goal of this project is to develop a mobile interface for voice transcription. This technology can be utilized, in conjunction with a database driven application, in developing nations to collect, organize, and archive reports from persons in remote and varying regions.

Another consideration is whether it is possible to have a portable transcription device which can generate SMS and/or e-mail messages
